Regarding the Team's trip to Kenya in July 2010
Sandy and a new Team will be leaving for Kenya on July 6th, 2010 for three weeks. The team will consists of 6 young adults and 6 “seasoned” adults.
In 2010 the team is going to take its first container load of goods to Kenya. Team members usually carry everything that they can but people have been wonderful in offering good used articles that the people in Kenya desperately need.
Hope2Kenya now has a storage unit so if you have any of the following items and would like to donate them to the people of Kenya, please call Sandy at 752-2156 to arrange pick-up. The plan is to ship the container in the fall.
We are collecting equipment for the disabled: wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, as well as hospital supplies, board games (with few pieces) such as Checkers, Sorry, Trouble, playing cards, and school supplies such as crayons, markers, rulers, stickers, pens, staplers, notebooks, etc.
All donations will be gratefully received.!!
